About Hannah Grenfell: Hannah has studied many forms of movement and dance since childhood, from classical ballet and tap dance to various forms of partner dancing as well as martial arts and movement for stage acting. She began her relationship with Argentine Tango in Aspen, Colorado in 2006 with Heather Morrow. Within a few months of taking her first Tango classes she began teaching private lessons and traveling to various festivals in Colorado and on the West Coast. Hannah moved to Portland in 2013 and since then has helped Alex Krebs in his Tuesday classes at Tango Berretin and has been fortunate enough to partner with Alex for occasional performances and workshops. Hannah believes in:
Organic, comfortable, and fluid movement;
Fun and ease, flow and strength;
Both the lead and follow have equal opportunity and responsibility within the embrace;
“Tango, like any skill, gives back what you put into it, but most importantly, it should be fun and bring you joy!”
