GNOMES on TABOR

Tabor Bread will be open for extended hours Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Happy Hour until 6:00pm! We are excited to announce a collaboration with Brewed By Gnomes which we will be featured alongside our curation of small plates such as an Olympia Provisions charcuterie board, curried cauliflower salad, truffled hazelnuts, and the like.

Brewed by Gnomes is a unique brewery offering Herbal Organic brews such as 'Leepa' - a Linden Flower Lager, 'Hawt of Darkness' - a dark Hawthorne berry Belgian ale, as well as a herbal-hopped 'Gnomebucha'. These beers are specially crafted with occasionally foraged botanicals that enhance the flavor of already beautifully balanced brews.

Bread and Pastries, as well as our current bottled selections still available.

Come take a walk on the Gnomey side with Tabor Bread this Solstice.

Tango La Leña

Come celebrate the beginning of your weekend! Join us for Tango La Leña at Tabor Bread from 5 pm - 8 pm.  Matthew Miller and Dessa Bingley will offer a beginner lesson at 5 pm and Matthew will DJ the dancing from 6 to 8pm. The Tango Lesson will be on “images and play this time, the better half of the method. It should be a really fun, high-energy class!”  Bring your friends and dancing shoes. Beverages for purchase. Small snacks provided. Event Organizer:  Nancy Good (nancygood1@gmail.com)

About Dessa and Matthew:

Dessa Bingley began dancing tango in 2011 while studying at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Her extensive knowledge of physiology and body mechanics inform both her acupuncture practice and her tango teaching, but she always comes back to an emphasis on self-expression and connection.

Matthew Miller started dancing in 2007, moved to Buenos Aires in 2012, and spent three years there dancing tango full time. He has also studied ballet, modern dance, movement anatomy, and improvisation. As a teacher, he uses metaphor to illuminate concepts and expand possibility in the dance.

Together Matthew and Dessa have developed a teaching method that uses play and imagery to encourage organic movement and creative freedom for both partners. Contact Matthew and Dessa with questions about lessons at mm4587@gmail.com 503-847-7258 (Matthew) and dbingley@gmail.com 917-843-2256 (Dessa).
